Church Ad rejected

Apparently, an advertisement for the United Church of Christ, with 1.6 million members, is too controversial for the major networks.

The ad appears to suggest that the church will welcome gay/homosexual people, and has the text: “Jesus didn’t turn people away. Neither do we.”\

Pretty scary, controversial stuff, that “love your neighbor” thing.

Hey, didn’t you know that the Christian Reconstruction Movement, despite the name, is strictly Old Testament? You’re not suggesting following the example of that liberal hippie Jesus, are you? For shame. Jahweh clearly showed how to kick major ass in the OT, then liberal revisionists got their hands on the NT and watered down the text, obviously. Well, except that Revelations part.
